WHAT THEY ARE
Red pandas are mammals. The Red panda s' scientific name is " Ailurus Fulgers". They are herbivores. That means they only eat plants. They eat bamboo, fruits and acorns .
HOW MUCH
It's size 20 to 26 inches tall, it's tail is 12 to 20 inches. weight is 12 to 20 pounds. Sadly, their population is Decreasing. A Red panda's average life span (in the wild ) is 8 years .
THINGS TO KNOW
The Red pandas live in forests in Nepal, Northern Myanmar, Burma ,and China. females give birth in the spring and summer. Young Red pandas stay in there nest for 90 day, in that time there mother cares for them.
